Welcome home... these two words together are music in my ears. Where is home? We have all seen the signs that say "home is where the heart is." Over the past two months I have had the privilege to see my family. I treasure the moments that I get to spend with my family.
Many of you know that I have felt a little disoriented since my move to Florida two years ago. I know that I am doing what God wants me to. I also know that I am in close fellowship with Him. What I also know is that being away from "home" has been very difficult. However, I realize now that "home" for me will always be where my friends and family are. If that means we take extreme trips to see one another then so be it! I am thankful for my sister, brother, mom and dad that were willing to come to this place that is so different from our "home" up north to visit "home" down south. It felt like "home".
I can not imagine what Heaven will be like. But, I think that we will feel like we are finally home! We will forever be surrounded by true love. What a lovely thought!

This rings SO true. Makes me think of the song..."No place to call home, and yet I'm never roaming...whereever You are, that's where my home will be."
Somehow I just think that heaven has a lot to do with really feeling like we've finally come home. No more good byes.
